Hallelujah – Rufus Wainwright

I love this song, so I was pleasantly surprised when they played it in church this Sunday. Excellent. I also love this version performed by Rufus Wainwright. I think it reflects the longing that humans have for love, connection, and faith.  Of course, being a writer I can’t help but think about how that same longing works in fiction, but it is the same in real life. I guess that’s why we all love a good soul-searching story in which characters find that connection.
