  1. I found that having a quota helped me on my last book. I think it’s like when you run (which I don’t do very often) knowing you just have to get to that point and then you can walk a lap…it helps somehow!! 🙂 Love this, Tina!

  2. Dan: I hear you. I think that being a prolific writer can be a challenge whether we have a quota or not. I personally like daily over weekly.

    There was a time when I never had a quota at all, but now I find that I am more productive with one. Happy writing and thanks for stopping by.

  3. I like his suggestion of a weekly quota, but it’s something I would struggle with. If I didn’t hold myself to writing a certain amount each day, I would simply put it off until the next day, and the next, and the next. The night before my weekly quota I would look at the pile of work in front of me, be anxious, and decide that I’d just wait until next week. Dangerous.
